Service Description
Turn your passion into a career with our private 3-day Eyelash Extension Training at Blink in Mink Studio. This one-on-one course is designed to give you the skills, confidence, and real-world experience to start taking clients right away. Your Training Experience Day 1 (Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM): Learn lash theory, sanitation, and practice application techniques. Work on your first live model in the afternoon. Lunch provided. Day 2 (Sunday, 9 AM – 6 PM): Advance your skills with a second model, plus a business and licensing overview so you’re ready to launch. Lunch provided. Day 3 (Bonus Monday, 11:30 AM – 4 PM): Watch Claire work on a live model, then complete your own supervised model session. Bring your own lunch. What’s Included in Your Training ✔️ A professional lash kit (included in your training fee, yours to keep) ✔️ Certificate of Completion from Blink in Mink Studio ✔️ 1 month of free studio access to practice your skills ✔️ 1 month of free chair rental to start building your clientele right away ✔️ Ongoing mentorship support during your practice month Student Requirements Bring 3 live models (Classic, Hybrid & Volume). If you need help arranging models, let us know at least 3 days before training. Dress in all black attire (professional, no sandals, shorts, or workout wear). Be in good health and ready to participate (training involves adhesives, tweezers, and other tools). Investment & Payments Training Fee: $1,350 CAD + GST Deposit: $500 (non-refundable) required to reserve your date Balance: $800 due on Day 1 by cash or e-transfer (credit card accepted with surcharge) Important to Know Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Completion of training does not guarantee employment or licensing; you are responsible for applying through Alberta Health Services or your provincial licensing body. Cancellation Policy
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. NO EXCHANGE & NO REFUNDS ON ALL PRODUCTS. Arrival New guests, please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any required paperwork. Appointment times are carefully planned based on service length. If you arrive late, it may not be possible to extend your appointment, and your service may be shortened; full service fees still apply. Arrivals more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time must be rescheduled. A deposit equal to the service cost will be applied to cover lost appointment time. For lash fills, please arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes. Extra time spent cleaning lashes will reduce your service time, and a cleaning fee of $10 may be applied. Reservation Fee A reservation fee is required to book services (Classic, Hybrid, Volume, Mega Volume full sets). This fee is non-refundable but can be transferred to one new appointment if rescheduled more than 72 hours before the original time. Cancellations or reschedules less than 72 hours prior will result in forfeiture of the reservation fee. For the safety of all clients and staff, please do not attend appointments if you are ill. If it is suspected that you are sick, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled. Cancellation, Reschedule & No-Show Policy A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Appointment reminders are sent 24 hours prior via text, email, or both. Cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours prior incurs a 50% service fee. No-shows or arrivals more than 15 minutes late incur a 100% service fee. These policies are strictly enforced, with no exceptions. Other Artists’ Work At Blink in Mink Studio, client safety and lash health are our top priorities. We cannot guarantee the integrity of lash work performed by other artists or studios. Any client requesting service over previous work from another artist must have lashes removed and a full set applied at standard pricing. Results & Aftercare All artists are trained and certified for their services. Individual results may vary based on skin type, lifestyle, natural lash density, and adherence to aftercare instructions. During your consultation, realistic expectations and recommended aftercare will be clearly explained. All work is guaranteed only if recommended aftercare products are purchased and used correctly. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in poor retention and additional charges.
